Oak House Surveyors Ltd was founded by Alan O'Donoghue in 1996. Alan, a retired Northern Bank Manager and Estate Agent, used his wealth of managerial and business experience to form Oak House Surveyors Ltd. George Knipe MRICS was enrolled as Oak House Surveyors primary Chartered Surveyor and Fiona came on board as Company Secretary. In 2005 the firm enrolled Brian Turley MRICS to their team. With George and Brian's 30+ years experience between them in surveying and property management and Fiona's 7 years experience in Administration, Alan had a strong team to help him build Oak House Surveyors Ltd to the well respected and established firm it is today. We pride ourselves in giving a fast, efficient, attention to detail service at competitive rates.
Having been Director of Oak House Surveyors Ltd since 1996, Alan decided to retire and handed the reins to our newly appointed Director, Brian Turley MRICS. George also decided to retire a short time after having spent 40 years in surveying and property management and Oak House Surveyors wishes them both a long and happy retirement. Fiona remains Company Secretary and together with Brian, Oak House Surveyors Ltd will continue to provide an extremely high standard of service to all our customers.

Director Brian Turley became a Chartered Surveyor in 2001 and is also an approved RICS Registered Valuer. The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is a worldwide recognized brand and is the leading brand in the property sector.

Having worked closely with Oak House Surveyors over the last decade Brian Turley (MRICS) became Director in 2015. Previously Brian had been a Director of a commercial firm in Dublin, where Brian headed up the valuation department. Brian became a member of the IAVI in 1997 and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2001. Brian has over 18 years experience in all sectors of Valuation from commercial to residential property, including Home Buyer Reports. In 2011 Brian became an RICS Registered Valuer and all valuation reports carried out are done so under the strict guidance of the Valuers Registration Scheme as well as the RICS Valuation Professional Standards (Global and UK) January 2014 (Red Book).
Fiona joined Oak House Surveyors Ltd in 1997 bringing with her extensive experience in customer service and administration, she is involved in the day to day running of the office and is the first point of contact for the business.
